Miriam Arndt was born in Germany, but grew up in South Africa. After briefly considering becoming a wizard she instead opted for a career in film and television, leading to her graduation from AFDA Johannesburg in 2011. After working as an offline editor at a boutique post production company for six years, Miriam joined the world of freelancers in 2018.
In addition to cutting commercials, music videos, documentaries and a variety of web content, Miriam has headed up small teams of editors on projects such as motorsport series So You Think You Can Spin. She has also filled the roll of assistant editor on several films, including Leading Lady, Meerkat Maantuig and South Africa’s 2016 Academy Award submission Thina Sobabili.
Wizardry still isn’t entirely out of the question.
